MONUMENT HILL WAR MEMORIAL REVIEWS
A very peaceful, well kept and beautiful location, with some stunning views over Albury. An absolute must to visit when in the area, and especially good during sunset or sunrise. Parking is all around the monument in the centre, and there's views from all directions around the central monument, with a few steps leading down. Toilet facilities at the top of the hill too, and a wonderful place to visit.
What a great tribute to our soldiers past and present. The whole site was clean as a whistle and had a view to match the scale of the monument itself. If you have time go and see it in the night time as well.
The Monument Hill War Memorial sits a top of the hill at the western end of Albury’s main street providing stunning views of the city and surrounding region.

LibraryMuseum was designed by Ashton Raggatt McDougall and welcomed visitors in 2007. As a community hub, it blends cutting-edge technology, reading and research resources, vibrant events, and a diverse exhibition lineup. At the heart of the structure, the library and museum intersect within a double-height space between the main entrance and staircase. The library section maximizes natural light, vivid wood panelling, and the ceiling's design to establish a lively, expansive area and a truly communal space for the city. Staff members in the library and museum sections excel in their service and hospitality. Visitors can explore various offerings, including a permanent showcase of local history and changing exhibitions. The site provides complimentary museum displays and a dedicated children's play area.

LIBRARYMUSEUM REVIEWS
GREAT BUT DEFICIENT Very good museum and friendly professional staff overall. Display and talks change often. Need more language books on demand or survey and some books not DVD. Runs study for schools Has great kids area and some food machines and cafes. Need upgrade on toilet and computer for disabled elderly to include dropdown table and extra hand grips. Same at least consider Covid well.
My family went here to this museum to see the "Underworld Mugshots from the roaring twenties" exhibition, and it was a great experience! I've learnt about the different criminals that once lived and i found it very fascinating! there was a great documentary that compared different criminal cases, which was also really cool to watch.
Went there yesterday and didn't know my way around the system. Great deal of help and patience portrayed by the staff. Absolutely delightful experience. Would highly recommend.

LIEUTENANT ALBERT BORELLA V.C. & VICTORIA CROSS MEMORIAL REVIEWS
The Memorial was the initative of the Benyon family, proprietors of the Peards Garden Complex. After viewing the memorial, make sure you visit Cafe Borella's just across the carpark for lunch or just a coffee and view even more military memorabilia, particularly focussing on Lietutenant Borella. Well worth the visit. This trip could be complemented with a trip to Albury's imposing Cenotaph that overlooks the whole city.
George Benyon, through his insight and respect single-handedly erected a very moving memorial to this man and others who protected our nation through the 100 years of conflict . the mans statue stand proud outside our local nursery and in the Borella cafe are the replica of medals won by our proud soldiers who have continued to keep our nation free.
Great place!! Great service. And I Love that they have honoured a former local Australian serviceman!! Then after lunch, you can stroll through the nursery.
