“Thurgoona Country Club Resort is a well-known golf course in Albury. Their 18-hole championship course is 6372m, par 72 for the men and 5480m, par 74 for the ladies. They are a semi-private facility offering great membership packages as well as plenty of availability for green fee players. Peter Thomson and Mike Wolveridge are the architects who designed a course that will challenge golfers of all capabilities. Thurgoona Country Club Resort offers beautifully manicured couch fairways, large bent grass greens with subtle slopes, strategically placed bunkers, and enough water to make even the most professional golfer think twice. In addition, the club has a semi-private facility providing great membership packages and plenty of availability for green-fee players. THURGOONA COUNTRY CLUB RESORT REVIEWS

This place was a real oasis after a long driving trip; a gem. We required a special room for disabled and were nicely surprised it had all required. Clean spacious, modern bathroom plus the room had nice outlook across the golf course. Will stay here again.

Great place to stay right on an amazing golf course. Good Country Club a few hundred metres away and only a 10 minute drive into Albury. Rooms are neat and tidy, beds comfy and staff are super friendly.

Great golf course and large dining and bar area. We had some driving range practice.

Just had the best golf weekend away with a group of mates and honestly couldn't be more satisfied with the whole experience. The hotel owners ,John and his wife, were so accommodating to us all and helped us with anything we needed. I would recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy a weekend away with good mates or even just a relaxing getaway. We will definitely be booking another trip there for sure. thanks heaps again for the stay.

The Albury Golf Club Resort is awesome! The views are stunning, the rooms are amazing , and the people there are super nice. If you're into golf or just want a cool place to chill, this resort is the way to go. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a fun time in NSW ! Shout out to Helen and John you guys are truly amazing and appreciate your hospitality look forward to the next business trip.

Wonderful stop over. Jeff is a very accommodating host. The room was quite large and very clean. Great value for money. The resort is very close to the main town.

Great early '24Winter conditions at Howlong. Well-maintained greens and fairways; great selection of trees that are well-kept. Well worth the trip in its current condition. A credit to the team at Howlong.

Outstanding golf course, club and motel. Ideal stop for your golf trip down the Murray. Course is in great condition with excellent fairways and greens and plenty of bunkers to catch errant shots. It’s not a long course and it’s flat so an easy walk.

Great place to stay,all the staff are fantastic, they made you feel so welcome, made new friends who live local and are members, I would recommend to anyone who love's golf and even if it's just a holiday to come to Howlong.
