MACHATTIE PARK REVIEWS
Beautiful park with a really adventurous feel and some pretty rad wildlife. I am a huge fan of bats and there's dozens of fruit bats lining the tops of the trees. Wonderful gardens and a really great picnic spot idea.
A very well-maintained park that has clean grass, and lots of shade. Surprisingly, the pond has large ducks and does not smell bad. The park is also conveniently located to other key areas of town. Great to take kids into, or have an evening walk.
The Bathurst Winter Festival began last night. It was a lovely night with some great entertainment including the Mcdonalds the ice skating rink.

VICTORIA PARK REVIEWS
Awesome outdoor park for the little kids, and Yes, the big Kids too Has restrooms, BBQ's, different sized play equipment for all ages, including swings for those in wheelchairs, a massive flying fox, maze, and many more play equipment options to keep everyone happy. My children enjoy the aka-'DinosaurPark' on a regular basis, never seem to get bored with it which makes life a little easier for active fun PlayDates.
Always a Beautiful park. Even better by the day. Councils development of this public area should be commended. From humble beginnings of a dodgy cricket pitch, swings and a slippery dip in a Barron paddock like park to the regional Gem it is now. Just needs a coffee cafe.
Great place to take the kids or meet up with friends and family for a picnic.
