When I thought of a fossil museum I thought, oh no, just boring rocks but no this museum is amazing. The displays are professionally done and the crystal displays are absolutely wonderful and beautiful. There are also animal bones and a reconstructed dinosaur. The gift shop also has lots of stones and books etc. for sale. Right in the middle of town this museum is in an old school building which is also worth looking at.Very enjoyable.

A group of fourteen of us (including a few ladies) visited the museum last Sunday morning and were warmly greeted by Ash and his wife, who had morning tea ready for us. We were given an excellent tour by Ash and for those who had any previous associations with motor cycles, or speedway racing the tour was very interesting. His collection of all manner of speedway bikes, posters, riding gear etc is huge, and there are several video presentations as well.
