Incredible collection of motor racing memorabilia from Australia's home of motor sport. Excellent audio visual displays and the Mostert shunt on the mountain is a must see. Fascinating collection of cars and bikes. Check out the Greg Hansford display as a testament to one of Australia's motorcycling legends. Brocky features heavily as he should and his first Bathurst race car is the start of the legend.

The motor racing museum is a great place to visit for lovers of all types of motor sports. As it shows all different cars & bikes from hill climbing, track racing & Speedway. It has a history of how they started to the latest car's Even the results of crashes. Grandchildren loved the exhibition & gift shop. Even car lovers were there with commodores I Don't have enough space for all the photos.

Cars and bikes to see very well presented and the shop which you can visit with or without the museum is good too. I am not into motor bikes at all but I really enjoyed looking at the cars. And enjoy a drive around the famous race track nearby.

OMG! I almost believed there were dinosaurs in this museum. HaHaHa! I’m not a big fan of dinosaurs, but this place is really interesting. I could stay there for an hour learning everything, including the history of the town. The staff are really nice and friendly. We had a wonderful afternoon at this museum.

I had no idea what to expect when we visited this museum, but it was one of the best museums I’ve visited. It is small in size, but jam-packed with a wonderful selection of fossils and minerals. It’s well set-out, informative, interactive and fun. The whole family enjoyed the museum. We will definitely visit again when we return to Bathurst.

wow best mineral specimen collection I have ever seen all very well displayed, everyone would find this interesting not just those interested in the subject, fossil section was great too.

A peek at the Linda Jackson exhibition at Bathurst Regional Art Gallery proved a riotous exploration of colour, landscape inspiration and textiles. The exhibition was well hung and curated to show the link between nature and landscape, the paintings, and the resulting textiles. Staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. Would happily return.

We went to the Bathurst Regional Art Gallery because our son had entered some photography into a regional art contest and we went to see it as well as all the other artworks. The two ladies out the front were very friendly and helpful.

Really enjoyed my visit. The exhibitions marking Naidoc week were diverse and thought provoking.
