Kershaw Gardens is a 50-hectare park on a former landfill site in Rockhampton's Park Avenue suburb. The park features a network of nature walks, showcasing an array of native flora throughout the area. Spanning one kilometre along the Bruce Highway, Kershaw Gardens offers a picturesque parkland with a walking track that loops through wetlands, rainforests, and a scenic artificial waterfall. The central precinct includes an exciting playground with swings, play equipment, a monorail, and an artificial waterway. Additionally, Kershaw Gardens offers a slab hut, a dog training area, and a large recreational space near the main entrance, with picnic shelters, a sensory garden, and a children’s play area.

2025 Update: Kershaw Gardens features a diverse collection of trees, shrubs, and herbs, along with a waterfall, walking paths, and a camping area. They have a wheelchair-accessible facility, and dogs are allowed.
