I highly recommend a trip here. There were quite a good bit of people when we visited, but the park is spacious and well designed. Even with my people anxiety, I never felt overcrowded or boxed in. We had such a fun time and enjoyed the many facets of the park. While there are a plethora of reptiles here, I was pleasantly surprised to see koalas and other animals as well. There is even a concession stand with food options, and even though we didn't eat from there, plenty of people were enjoying the options. The park also has a nice gift shop with reasonably priced items for purchase, and there are plenty of options. I opted for a hat and some shirts. I'm from the U.S., but in the month I spent in Australia, this is one of my favorite places we visited, and we went all over from Sydney to the Great Barrier Reef. Visit here. You won't regret it.

I had a fantastic visit to the Reptile Park! The Aussie staff were laid-back yet professional, ensuring the park was well-maintained. The volunteers were incredibly knowledgeable, eagerly sharing insights about the various species. There's also a great picnic area and basic food options available, which added to the experience. I highly recommend this park – it felt much more personal and intimate than Taronga Zoo. I got a real sense of being closer to the animals, and I appreciated the spacious enclosures for the wildlife.

Absolutely wonderful day at Reptile Park. Animals well cared for, lovely atmosphere, kind friendly knowledgeable staff, great picnic area, with picnic tables and bbqs. Not over crowded. Good parking Clean facilities. Very welcoming. Lots of trees and shade on a hot day. Can’t fault it. Good ticket prices. Loved every minute !

I recently visited the Gosford Regional Gallery, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! The gallery boasts a fantastic collection of contemporary art, and the surrounding gardens are simply beautiful. The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, making the visit even more enjoyable. I loved how the space encourages creativity and community engagement. Whether you’re an art lover or just looking for a peaceful spot to relax, this gallery is a must-see. I can’t wait to return and explore more exhibitions!

Lovely place, free admission, garden is fantastic. Although it is way smaller than in Sydney, but much more fun because they sell koi fish food, and the extra fun is that the pond is shared by ducks who also relish the koi pellets. So the challenge is two-step, a) distract the ducks, b) feed the fish. Kois are more numerous and have big mouths, but ducks are much faster and just walk on the poor fish with zero shame. Seriously, if I was a koi in that pond, I'd just bite off the ducks' legs :) The artworks on display are also quite enjoyable and give food for thought and inspiration.

I have visited Gosford before. It was my first visit to the Gallery. I enjoyed having a guide explore with my group the latest art work. We then enjoyed the gardens. The lunch was exceptionally good. A must visit . The Gosford scenery surrounds magnificent.

Wonderful and well maintained sanctuary ideal for a day outing from Sydney. The animals are well looked after and staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Kangaroos and emus roam about in the open while the visitors get to pat them and click a pic or two. The ticket includes a packet of feed for the farm animals. A very good experience to visit with kids. Food: One could do take outs for a picnic in the sanctuary or alternatively, the visitor centre does some stock sandwiches, instant noodles and other snacks for light meals.

A fantastic place to visit. You can comfortably see the majority of the park and it's animals in a bit over an hour, but you could very easily spend a whole day there too. Some animals freely roam the park while others are safely kept out of reach of visitors. The day I visited with my children, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Walkabout Wildlife Park to all ages.

lovely sanctuary/zoo we drove past and decided to go in. heaps of kangaroos & wallabies just roaming around. meerkats are adorable. worker let us hold a snake and pet a wombat which was delightful!
