Mildura Arts Centre stands as a premier hub for arts and culture in Mildura, Victoria. It encompasses various facilities such as a regional art gallery, a performing arts theatre, Rio Vista Historic House, Sculpture Park, and a cafe. Within Rio Vista, several rooms, including the conservatory, were repurposed for displays, with original surfaces often painted over. This transformation into the Mildura Art Centre prevented the potential demolition of the house and the division of its surrounding grounds. The exhibition program features a dynamic blend of temporary showcases displaying selected collection works, exhibitions by local contemporary artists, touring exhibits, and pieces by visiting artists. Entry to the art gallery and Rio Vista Historic House is free, and car parking is available.

MILDURA ARTS CENTRE REVIEWS
Rio Vista is a historic manor now restored with a harmonious colour scheme, great workmanship and attention to detail. The fountain and landscaping just adds to the authenticity and though the old and new buildings of the complex are connected, they are kept visually separate. This was a chance encounter, staying close by. We had a river cruise booked so did not have time to explore the rest of the centre, still the Rio Vista remains the highlight of our latest stay in Mildura and fits into the historic theme of paddle steamers, Psyche pump and the homestead walk. Next time.
Had a marvellous time exploring the Rio Vista homestead and Mildura Arts Centre during one of the Twilight events. A perfect evening.
Brilliant Theatrical Season and nice professional venue. We’ll worth supporting and catching a show.

Red Cliffs Historical Steam Railway was established in 1994 under the jurisdiction of Red Cliffs. Initially, it functioned between Red Cliffs railway station and the Red Cliffs pumping station, covering a two-kilometre stretch of the former 1600-millimeter gauge Red Cliffs Morkalla branch line. This line has been modified to a 610-millimetre gauge to facilitate tourist train operations. The Railway runs on the first Sunday of every month, excluding January and February, on Victorian Labour Day, Queen's Birthday long weekends, and Easter Sunday.

Langtree Hall Museum stands as Mildura's inaugural public hall, constructed in 1889. The hall museum showcases local history alongside an International Dolls exhibit. Initially utilized as an assembly hall for roller skating, it swiftly evolved into the community's primary public space. Starting in 1889, it served diverse functions, hosting Court of Petty Sessions cases, musical events, dances, concerts, church services, and even housing a newspaper printing office. In 1936, the hall was transformed into a Billiards Room. Wheelchair access is available through the Restored Cottage and Hall.

Excellent and varied display, but building would be more welcoming with some heating facilities on a cold day.
