MUSEUM OF VEHICLE EVOLUTION REVIEWS
Great place to enjoy everything transportation from 100 year old push bikes to cars trucks buses and motorcycles... There is a large variety of makes and models from days gone by for all modes of transport. An extra part of the museum is the Furphy historic section with many items and stories from the local manufacturing company. Allow minimum 2 hours to take it all in.
Fabulous! Enjoyed this place way more than I thought I would. Cars and trucks through the ages. Wonderful stories about local businesses and how they started out. Fantastic old bikes, including wooden one with no pedals or seats. Ouch! Lots of Furphy info and display. Clothing exhibition was lovely. Staff were friendly and informative. A few hours very well spent!
A well presented display of cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles and even telephones, radios and clothing. It also houses the only collection of Furphy foundry products and history which was quite interesting. Well worth a visit.

SHEPPARTON ART MUSEUM REVIEWS
An imposing and impressive building opened last year with a perfect position on Victoria Park Lake as you drive into Shepparton city. Great exhibition of art works from the galleries collection. There is a cafe on site and an indigenous art organisation. The tourist information centre is also housed on the ground floor. There are caravan parking areas nearby adjacent the car park and on the highway just on the city side of the museum.
Somewhere different to visit for locals. And it is free to visit the Art gallery. Coffee was excellent from their Cafe, nice frothy cappuccino & perfect temperature. Whilst we didn't eat at the cafe, the menu was quite modern & exciting. Great view of Lake Victoria from the observation deck. Staff were all very nice to talk & the young lady in Kaiela Arts was very hospitable & informative.
Awesome new art museum, you can’t miss it on your drive into Shep. Fantastic indigenous art inside a great space, some interesting VCE works too. Cafe is a good spot to sit and look over the surrounding parkland then go for a stroll along the boardwalk where you’ll see plenty turtles, ducks and much more!

AUSTRALIAN BOTANIC GARDENS REVIEWS
A hill! In Shepparton! Never thought I'd see the day. The Shepparton botanical gardens are great, perfect place to go for a quiet walk. Scenery is beautiful with a variety of local flowers both on display in the garden as well as in the bush. There's a short forest trail, some ponds and small wetland environment, and some interesting animals to see if you're lucky. Not to mention there's a lookout where you can see everything, very cool. Absolutely free as well.
Revisited the Gardens today and wholeheartedly agree with the information that this is an iconic site. I was excited to see the developments, since my last visit several years ago, to these evolving Gardens. So much to see either from the lookout at the top of the hill, and to think this is atop of a former rubbish tip, or the tracks that meander around the site. Congratulations to all the parties involved foreseeing the potential.
This is a really interesting place with plenty of ideas to inspire people to enhance their own gardens with facinating Australian plants and trees. Full of birdlife, lovely walks and vistas, and a marvellous sense of peace amongst the river red gums. Great sculptures and outdoor design ideas. A very special place and a terrific find. Includes a lovely play area for kids. A really nice way to spend some time when in Shepparton.
