3 Best Places To Visit in Shepparton VIC

With a tour, Geoff Cootes took it himself. He knows his truck and his enthusiasm is awesome growing up around them all his life. We learned a lot and was amazed how the old trucks have been restored and looked after. The show case from the past to now is a great way to show were trucking industry has evolved from since time. A great place to visit now and into the future of the trucking industry.

This place is truly awesome. A massive collection of all kinds of vehicles, some I’ve never seen in person before. Great that you can get up close to many vehicles, and even step inside old buses / truck cabs. Fantastic!!

It's amazing to see the variety of the different collections that are in the MOVE. We enjoyed all the collections on display from the vintage cars and trucks, the motorcycles, fashion, radios, and the push-bikes . The volunteers are very friendly and helpful. It's a great place to with the family.

What a brilliant place. The lady who helped us was so friendly, with heaps of suggestions of things to see and do. They have a great little gift area, plenty of parking . I now wish I was staying longer to explore all of the area! There is also an Art Gallery, which would be worth your while. The Moooving Art (a collection of beautifully and uniquely painted, life size cow statues) , are an adventure in themselves. Finding them, there are over 100 in the district, and photography them is a fun puzzle!

Hubby and I decided to stop in on our way to Melbourne to see some art. The museum exceeded our expectations and the art was breathtaking. We had an amazing experience talking to one of the hosts, shout out to Melissa. She was fantastic at helping us understand some of the art and was a pleasure speaking with. All round we would highly recommend a trip to Shepparton Art Museum again. Thanks again Jenette and Ron.

Really enjoyed our visit. An interesting and engaging set of displays. Valued the ceramics display, young artists, and first nations. Denton Corker Marshall architecture is elegant in its simplicity. Such a treat in our visit to Shepparton.

Revisited the Gardens today and wholeheartedly agree with the information that this is an iconic site. I was excited to see the developments, since my last visit several years ago, to these evolving Gardens. So much to see either from the lookout at the top of the hill, and to think this is atop of a former rubbish tip, or the tracks that meander around the site. Congratulations to all the parties involved foreseeing the potential.

This is a really interesting place with plenty of ideas to inspire people to enhance their own gardens with facinating Australian plants and trees. Full of birdlife, lovely walks and vistas, and a marvellous sense of peace amongst the river red gums. Great sculptures and outdoor design ideas. A very special place and a terrific find. Includes a lovely play area for kids. A really nice way to spend some time when in Shepparton.

Stunning location for a walk in the morning. Beautiful gardens, walking tracks and landscapes. Kids will love the area too for a quick stop to stretch the legs. Highly recommended and will return for a more longer detailed walk in the near future.
