Jodie Kennedy began practising Iyengar yoga in 1988 in Adelaide, South Australia, under the guidance of Vanessa Shribmann of Coast Yoga. Her journey continued with two years of Iyengar teacher training in Colorado from 2000 to 2001, led by Nancy Stechert and Leslie Bradley of the Colorado School of Iyengar Yoga. Additionally, she underwent two years of intensive Massage Therapy training at the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy in Denver. In 2017, Jodie completed Australia's one-year IYTA Yoga Teacher Training program. Throughout her educational journey, she received guidance from esteemed instructors such as Alan Goode, Eve Gryzbowski, and Donna Farhi. Combining 30 years of dedicated yoga practice and 15 years of experience in massage therapy, Jodie now conducts classes in Port Macquarie, situated on the scenic NSW Coast. Her intimate studio, accommodating a maximum of eight people, is where she passionately believes that yoga benefits every BODY, regardless of age or life stage. According to Jodie, there is always a soul-nourishing practice, irrespective of life's challenges.
