3 Best Australian Restaurants in Cairns QLD

Beautiful food and great service. We came here on our honeymoon and recently came back for our anniversary. The food was as good as we remembered and we were treated and looked after well. Definitely recommend the steak as we haven’t stopped thinking about it for years!

Beautiful ambience, views, the staff were very attentive and the seafood platter was very WOW. Absolutely loved it and the way the seafood was presented in so many different styles to the norm. Over looking the marina was lovely as the sun set.

Gorgeous venue with a beautiful view of the harbour. The service was phenomenal. Food was divine. My partner and I loved our lunch here. Highly recommend. Make sure you order the feta and pear bruschetta, so delicious!

Wow, what an amazing restaurant on the beachfront looking over the ocean with palm trees over your head. I highly recommend checking this place out. I had a great time with my family. We had an amazing meal. Their sourdough bread is to die for some of the best bread I’ve ever had in my life. The lamb was impeccable and it was so tender, and it was just cooked too perfection. If you’re in Palm Cove and want to eat at a really good restaurant. I definitely would go to this place because it was very worth it.

A fantastic dining experience with fresh, locally inspired dishes and stunning oceanfront views. Our waitress took her time to explain the menu and make recommendations. The waitress was even successful in pushing some of our party beyond their comfort zone. The service was attentive, food was delightful and the vibrant atmosphere made for a memorable meal.

Had lunch here the other day and it was amazing! The food was excellent, we finished everything we ordered. The staff are nice and professional. I highly recommend this place and would surely come back next time!

What an awesome restaurant that ticks all the boxes. Great location on the boardwalk with very friendly service that made us feel welcome. We were very impressed with the menu which delivered and went with the 3 course set menu. The Salt & Pepper quail was exceptional, just the right amount of spice and the watermelon and finger lime, perfect match. I had the Beef Tenderloin for main which was perfectly cooked. Finished with the Lemon Myrtle Macadamia Tart, that was so light and refreshing. Definitely a standout restaurant on our visit to Cairns and hats off to the chef, fantastic work.

Overall, it was a delicious modern Australian cuisine experience. The pork belly and octopus salad for starters, along with the 600-gram rib steak, were all beautifully presented and incredibly tasty. The Shiraz wine from South Australia that we had alongside was also very good. The total came to $198. In my personal opinion, it was the best restaurant in Cairns.

If you’re a tourist who wants to try good Australian food, this is probably the best place in Cairns! We had roasted lamb, kangaroo on sticks (I forgot what it was called), and a platter with all kinds of meat on it, which had salmon, crocodile, kangaroo, and emu. A bit pricey, but everything was great. The service was also superb, and the staff were incredibly attentive. Also, the dessert was great too.
