3 Best Seafood Restaurants in Cairns QLD

We hired the private room for a family birthday dinner. The food was made well and delicious. The room had good space for our group and provided a private experience from the noise of the rest of the restaurant while also keeping the children in one area. The staff were helpful and we also had a visit from Gary to check in on our evening. The chips were made well and everything was fresh. Our daughter chose this restaurant to celebrate because she loves their garlic prawn dish which was thoroughly enjoyed. Staff and customer service have been helpful in arranging this as our venue, thank you Dundee’s.

Lovely food & service! Despite not having an initial booking, there were enough spots for my group to be accommodated. A staff member by the name of Austin was super friendly and cheerful, knew exactly what he was doing at any given time - made the experience 10x better. The food was fresh and well prepared, not as many non-alcoholic drink options as the other Dundee’s, but we still enjoyed the ones we had. Thanks.

Got off the plane and straight to the restaurant for a late lunch. We were very excited about this place. The restaurant has great water views. The menu offered a wide variety to choose from. We decided to go with the seafood platter for 4 but there's just two of us. We were quite hungry. While waiting we had the lychee Martini and it's probably one of the best ones I've had so far. The food came out not too long after. It was quite big and looked amazing. All the seafood we had were so fresh and tasty. The caesar salad was so delicious too. The garlic prawns with rice was surprisingly so good. This is one of the best seafood platters I've had. The service was excellent. The staff was friendly and made sure we had a wonderful dining experience and we did. We are coming back in November and looking forward to it.

I went for dinner. The fish was fresh and excellent. I tried the selection of shrimp and the salmon, both recommended. The atmosphere is unique since you eat on a real boat. Friendly and attentive staff. Approved and recommended.

Amazing fresh sea food in a very unique location. Conveniently located right on the main marina in Cairns on a series of boats!! Definitely not your run of the mill seafood place. All the seafood we had was extremely fresh and flavoursome. The sharing platter was a huge amount for the two of us, but we managed to polish it off still! Highly recommended if you are in town.

The restaurant is spead across 3 boats! It's such a novelty to board and eat! Please note, the boats don't leave the dock! The seafood was so fresh and delicious! You share a table with others which adds to the atmosphere, but there's enough room and they space you evenly. I don't usually like fresh oysters, but I went back for seconds! The prawns were a good size and tasted amazing and the sushi was the best I've ever tasted! The service was quick and friendly. I'd definitely go back.

Great dining experience. We had the platter and loved every bit of it, especially the crab! It had everything, and the platter for 2 was plenty for 3 guys + we ordered two salads which were also delicious. Highly recommended, it's a nice location too.

A must go to place for delicious fresh seafood. The speciality cocktail was yum. Our favourite dish was the seaweed gnocchi and crab, gyoza and the homemade was very moorish. Great host and staff.

Excellent dining experience here. We ordered the whole fried barramundi, and they provided each person finger bowls to clean our hands. Facing the marina, we were able to enjoy both freshly cooked seafood and the amazing view. The restaurant offers lunch sets, which comes with complimentary beer, wine or soft drink included in the price - which makes it very value for money.
