Food was AMAZING... setting was warm classy and relaxing.. service could have been a little better but still gave a 5 star rating as food was just fantastic.. Large tasty meals . A little pricy for my piking but when the foid comes you forget all about the pruce.. flavours were just... awesome.. will be back for special occasion...

Surprisingly good food for a motel restaurant. We both had the red emperor special, which was excellent. Quite a decent wine list. Menu seemed limited to what they can do well, which is wise. Special request for some extra sauce for sticky date pudding filled quickly and without awkwardness.

The food tasted amazing and was presented in a way pleasing to the eye. The princess cocktail was a fun drink that I was pleasantly surprised to find on the menu. Service is very good.

GIP'S RESTAURANT REVIEWS

Gips is a great place for a nice dinner. The service was great tonight, all the young men who served us at different times were knowledgeable and friendly, offering suggestions and not being pushy about anything. The atmosphere is quiet and elegant, makes for a very relaxing and intimate setting. The food is very delicious but is on the pricey side, there isn't a huge range but there should be something to suit everyone. The drinks menu is extensive, they offer a large range of wines and a decent selection of other drinks too. Looking forward to my next visit!

New to the region so first time dining at Gips and the experience could not have been better Great Food, Great Beverage choice and First class service from Annabelle. Our Prawn and Chorizo Pasta was tasty, fresh and a generous serving. The solo guitarist topped off the experience Thank-you Bill and Jenny!

We were very well taken care of for our Women's Network Australia event. The food was yummy and the service was very good. The building itself is very beautiful and the different rooms give a taste of days gone by. Highly recommend this heritage venue.
