3 Best Bakeries in Bowral NSW

Took the family up to Bowral today and had lunch at Gumnut patisserie. The place is well presented with easy access and covered seating outside. The cakes and desserts look incredible and such a wide variety to choose from. Also a good selection of pies which were very nice. The coffee was hot and actually tasted like fresh ground coffee and not warm milk. The staff were super friendly and happy to answer questions about what was what. The place was super busy. Would definitely eat there again.

Gumnut Patisserie is a must-visit for us every time we're in the Highlands. Their baked goods are consistently fresh and delicious. Our go-to favorites are the almond croissant, the lemon tart, and the lamb and rosemary pies. Be sure to arrive early during peak seasons, as popular items often sell out by the afternoon.

My all time favourite patisserie in all of Australia. Never disappoints! They made my daughters wedding cake. There was nothing left after the reception. That’s 20kg of cake consumed after an extremely well catered for reception. The cake was phenomenal! Just love this business so much!

This is a franchise of the ultra famous Californian Sonoma bakery, and just in the middle of country NSW! Impressive selection of curated bread types and baked goods that give you a hint of how high is the standard they aim for. Just 10 meters away from the Gumnut Patisserie in Bowral, this place is an absolute must to those who enjoy simply the best.I still dreaming with their quiche verde. Yum!!

I have tried all the award winning bakery pies and sausage rolls. All I can say the judges have nicer been here! The are positively the best I have ever tasted! By a long long way! Well done don’t change a thing Sonoma bakery! Loved it.

We stopped by mid morning for coffee and a snack. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a moroccan vege roll and a Portuguese tart. They were delicious. Definitely recommend.

Great little cafe in Bowral. Especially good if you want somewhere less crowded than the usual tourist cafes. We had superb coffees, full cream cappuccinos and oat caps. The food is especially good, we shared a spinach and ricotta pie (like a burek), and a fig and custard pastry, both really yum. Skip the queues at Gumnut and come here instead. Highly recommended!!

Incredible bakery - just going to call it and say actually the one of best bakeries I've ever encountered. The chicken and leek pie was mind bendingly good! Swing my first thing tomorrow AM to pick up a lead of stuff to go back to Sydney with us. Nice work, great business!

My absolute favourite place for coffee, food and service. Kevin, Ardi and all the staff create such a welcoming and fun place to be, there are always many laughs had and many pastries eaten as well!
