On a recent stay in Bowral I stumbled upon this takeaway shop and the hamburgers we had were the best we’ve had in ten years, absolutely delicious and the exact way a hamburger should be made, and run by lovely people.

The very Best hamburgers.... always fresh, always delicious.... same goes for the fish and chips. Were lucky to have this takeaway when you ferl like a great burger.

Went here today in my first time in bowral. I had the grilled fish and it was amazing! Probably the best grilled fish I’ve ever had. So fresh and tasty. Thanks again.

Friendly service (I got takeaway and the girl brought it to me at the table I was sitting at). The food was fresh and tasty. Best calamari I have had in years. Cooked to perfection. My family enjoyed the fish and chips too. I got 12 calamari, two barramundi crumbed, and 'small chips'. The chips were also cooked to perfection. Crispy and delicious. The servings were generous and we fed 4 people. All happy. Well done.

Wow! Do yourself a favour and pay Sweet and Salt a visit! Everything you want out of a milk bar burger! The Bowral Burger does not disappoint, tasty, hot traditional hamburger with all the trimmings that is well put together… tasty in every bite. Hot fluffy crunchy chips ! Very glad to see the bonus scallop - all wrapped up in butchers paper - classic! In a world of fancy burgers, you can’t go past a classic.

I love this place, it's my go to for food and I think I'm slowly becoming a regular. The workers are always nice and the food is amazing when I'm out with friends this is the chip shop we go to. The decorations haven't been updated for a while but that doesn't take ways from the quality of the store.

Came from out of town, and smelled my way to this shop from across the park lol. Grabbed a couple of burgers with the lot and a big serving of chips. So tasty was the burgers and deliciously hot chips! Friendly staff and a tidy clean shop. Top marks, keep it up.

Best hamburger in Mossy by far! The food is good, the service is fast. Price is decent for what you get.

Medium hot chips ($13) is HUGE - the chips are twice the height of the box. Excellent chips too - crispy on outside, stays crispy for ages, fluffy inside. Chicken salt - of course. Potato scallop ($1.5) bit too greasy though.
