We had our wedding hosted by Double Shot & Localé and it was so incredible! All of the staff are so kind and generous with their time. They looked after us so well. It was a beautiful venue, so beautiful, natural and lush we didn’t even want to set up further decorations. Everyone commented on how delicious and amazing the food was! Thank you so much team, we appreciate everything you did for us.

Went there for brunch with friends. It was pretty busy on a weekday. However, they fixed us a table quickly. The ambiance is beautiful. The service was quick and the food was good. Would definitely recommend.

This spot is always busy in the mornings, but it's worth it for their tasty porridge. Plus, they're totally cool with pets tagging along, so it's a win-win for everyone.

THE CUPPING ROOM REVIEWS

The mushroom toast was a fantastic choice by the chef! The staff were friendly and kindly, and the cafe was busy with a steady stream of customers on a Sunday. It was a great meal on my last day in Canberra. The coffee is also great, and I'm grateful to the staff for their assistance.

Every time we visit ACT, we make sure to spend time visiting The Cupping Room. It's for their ONA coffee of course but also their food. Their newly renovated interior looks spacious.

Best avocado toast ever, kids loved their egg and bacon plate. The pastries we had for desert were also delicious.

PENNY UNIVERSITY CAFE REVIEWS

What stood out completely here was the service. My friend and I went out for brunch and were intrigued by the macadamia milk, the waiter was kind enough to give us a taste on the house! The juice I had was amazing and unique, adding pomegranate was a great touch. Only area where I would take off points was the burnt toast and halloumi. The shakshuka was delicious but the taste of burnt bread ruined it to a degree. Still, a great experience and I’m sure it was a one-off thing.

A cosy and welcoming cafe at the Kingston shops. There was good service and food even when it was completely full. The katsu chicken burger is substantial and kept me satisfied for the whole day. Good coffee.

This cafe has an excellent and extensive menu and delicious food! Great selection of hot beverages too. We ordered the crisp fried baby eggplant salad and chicken katsu burger, both of which I would definitely get again.
