3 Best Cafes in Devonport, TAS

After disembarking from Spirit of Tasmania early in the morning go straight to this cafe. Its a nice place and have comforting food to prepare someone for the day. No photos of the food as when it was served to me, I just went straight for it! I just realized I had to take photo when I was done.

Great choice for breakfast and coffee off the ferry as opens 06.30 am. Impressed by coffees ( single shot flat white and a double shot flat white)and the breakfast ( eggs Benedicte) Swift service despite being busy. Spacious, not too noisy.

This Cafe was fantastic. The food is scrumptious and the young lady who served us was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place.

Wow. The consistency of this cafe is unreal. Have been here multiple times over the past few years, but moved to Adelaide and haven’t been for a while. We came back for their Father’s Day bookings this year; had their beef brisket eggs, and it was one of the best breakfast I’ve ever had. The rest our table also thoroughly enjoyed the food, including the chilli eggs. They always have great service, quick with their food and drinks, and a great selection that caters to all dietary requirements. The view is beautiful to top it all off.

An unexpected delight - we stumbled across this cafe on a walk and absolutely loved it. Great views, good service and most of all an unexpected menu with your classics as well as more creative options. We‘ll be back.

The Harbourmaster Café is an absolute treasure by the water. The chilli scrambled eggs were possibly the best I’ve ever had; fluffy, full of flavour, and with just the right amount of heat. The coffee was top-notch and paired perfectly with the relaxed waterfront scenery. Service was spot on, and the whole place has a welcoming, easy vibe.

A very very charming young fellow served us as we had just got off The Spirit and went for breakfast. He was a true asset to the business as we chatted about the old kiosk that used to be there and this has taken its place. The eggs were wonderful as were the two Long Blacks The view absolutely picture postcard with the sun over the ocean 12 out of 10 WONDERFUL.

The Drift is the perfect location for an early breakfast or a weekend brunch!! The smashed pumpkin poached egg or the homemade granola and yogurt were very elicious. As you enjoyed your food overlooking the harbour. Service by Dane and Noah was terrific!! If you are in the area, please sure to check this place out.

We enjoyed lunch here and the entire experience was wonderful. The team were generous in their connection and very efficient My seafood chowder was the best We're going back for breakfast And the beach view just makes it all perfect.
