HONG KONG CHEF EAST MAITLAND REVIEWS

Everything seems new and recently renovated with the wall decor representing Hong Kong city, I guess. Even waiting staff seems new but was really lovely and happy go beyond and above for the service. It was during busy periods, although food was serviced in a timely manner. The food was delicious. Loved the special fried rice and chicken fried dumpling, which was the take for me.

An absolutely amazing place to eat! The food was amazing light and flavourful the best Chinese food I have had since moving to the area! The atmosphere was good even with a near on full house it’s wasn’t loud I could still talk to my partner on the other side of the table. It did take awhile for a server to take our food but we were happy with the overall service spent $85 and walked out happy and full! Dine here if your looking for a “succulent chinese meal”.

Anniversary lunch before movies and as usual with Hong Kong Chef has a great dining atmosphere, great food, great value for money, staff are always super friendly. Love dining here.

I've had lunch today (Friday 12/7/2024) here on my way from High Street station to Maitland shopping centre. The stir-fried beef with steamed rice was great, just enough flavour and with the right amount of salt/sauce, and was tasty. The customer service was excellent. The price was good too, but with a surcharge as i paid with a card, I will need to withdraw some cash next time. Thank you for letting me recharge my phone as my phone's battery was nearly die and needed the recharge to get around the area as I am not living locally.

If you’re looking for good quality Chinese food then I’d highly recommend mellow bistro! I am from Newcastle and I travel to Maitland quite frequently just to dine here, the customer service is immaculate and the food never disappoints, Easy 5 stars!

This is the third time i have eaten here and if i could give more stars i would i eat at a lot of chinese resturants around the country and would rate this one of the best. if not the best they have a good variety of dishes and cook them too perfection, great size dishes great atmosphere and friendly staff who i think are all family i would highly recomend this resturant too anyone

Best Chinese in town, they even make broccoli taste great! Lovely staff, very friendly and fast service. Never had anything I didn't like from here, it's all great.

This Chinese restaurant is great. Being vegetarian they do up the best fried rice for me. Reasonable prices.

Fantastic service. Tasty, fresh food at a reasonable price and prompt delivery. The fact that they deliver to our address made my night and was super convenient. Thanks guys. Ill be ordering from here again for sure.
