3 Best Bakeries in Maitland NSW

I literally couldnt say enough great things about this place, the pastries are fantastic, Drinks are yummy and it’s such a cute shop. You can tell it’s been built with love and the constant line out the door tells you everything you need to know about the quality on offer. The service is quick and the selection is ever-changing. If you haven’t tried icky sticky you absolutely have to go!

Small but great patisserie! We ordered some small cakes for the wedding dessert table from here, they looked and tasted delicious. We also ordered some coffee and desserts when we were picking other things up and it was soo good! Each person having coffee was saying this was the best one we had in a really long time! Highly recommended place.

Wow what a great little cafe we had some excellent coffees and some delicious cakes to go with it. I would definitely recommend to go to this excellent cafe, to all the staff at Icky Sticky keep up the good work.

The BEST Bakers Delight bread in the whole of NSW in my opinion. I drive for over an hour to stock up on their perfect loaves of High Fibre Low GI bread and rolls. They keep exceptionally well in my chest freezer and I order every fortnight. There are other Bakers Delight stores closer to where I live, but they don't produce as fresh, perfectly sized, textured bread as the store at Maitland. The customer service is always very friendly and professional. Since I am a regular customer I have developed a great rapport with the store manager/franchise owner. They also have a great customer loyalty program where you can earn free items after a certain spend.

Good range of products to choose from, staff was very friendly and willing to help. It's in a convenient location too, get all your groceries and grab a snack for the way home.

Always bakers delight bread, so fresh and tasty. Plus their range of sweet and savoury options are always interesting.

Highly recommend! So many great options of cakes, pastries, and drinks at such reasonable prices. The Vietnamese pork Banh Mi and hot latte coffee are a must-try – super tasty! The owner is really friendly and welcoming, which adds to the charm. Plus, it’s conveniently located on a corner with plenty of parking space along the side.

Been here 3 times I’ve always got the roast pork roll with either a sweet or coffee. The quality, quantity and service amazing. I’m more than happy to to detour off the Pacific Motorway to get a feed from this place before traveling on. Thanks for the friendly and generous service.

Good bakery before and even better now that the new owners have taken over. The sweets in particular have really improved absolutely delicious!!! Friendly owners who always greet you with a smile. Highly recommend.
