3 Best Italian Restaurants in Maitland NSW

OUTSTANDING. This would be the best meal we've had in a long time. I had the perfect lamb shoulder. Everything was tender and had so much flavour. The staff were excellent, fast, knowledgeable and friendly. Great comfy seating. 100% recommended.

Wow! What an amazing dining experience! Unfortunately my photo does not do our dinner justice. I had the Bistecca and my partner had the Scaloppine Alla Panna - we left very satisfied with our choices, the food was just perfect. Table service was amazing, such lovely staff! I’d give it more stars if I could.

Myself and a few friends are steadily becoming regulars here and for good reason. Never had a bad meal here; you can always taste the fresh, quality ingredients that make these tradition Italian dishes so tasty. The food is amazingly complimented by the fantastic selection of wines! The wine racks also add very nicely to the decor and ever so slightly rustic, mellow vibe of the place. Highly recommend.

The food at Casa Nova Greenhills is delicious and the cocktail menu is varied. The best part of our evening however, was our server Krishna! It was SO refreshing to go into an establishment and be served with enthusiasm and a smile. Our table was served promptly and even when the restaurant got busier, he was consistent in checking on our table and ensuring we were satisfied. He kept an eye on our table and was quick to lend a hand when our toddler accidentally spilled her water. He gave recommendations and was so friendly that I would go back again and again purely for the high quality service we experienced.

My friend and I had the bottomless brunch today and would highly recommend! All of the food was beautiful, delicious cocktails and amazing service from Sashi and the other waiter, didn't catch his name but both were exceptional.

Our waiters name was Sxinu and he very polite and friendly. Great customer service. The food was amazing. We can't wait to come back again.

One the nicest, romantic dine-in places I’ve seen in a long time. Feels like I’m in Italy. Oozes family owned. Pizzas have been always perfect crunchy base and fluffy texture. Best wood fire pizza I’ve had in a long time. Well done Ometto, hidden gem.

Modest place, but food OMG Authentic Italian pizza, cooked to perfection, amazing ingredients and service super friendly! Highly recommended! Thanks guys for my family dinner tonight!

Absolutely delicious! Ometto Pizza Bar serves some of the best wood-fired pizzas I’ve ever had. The crust is perfectly thin and crispy, and the toppings are fresh and full of flavor. I highly recommend the Calabrese Piccante if you like a bit of spice, and the Nutella dessert calzone is the perfect sweet finish. The staff are friendly, and the cozy atmosphere makes it a great spot for dinner with friends or family. Definitely a must-visit in Maitland!
