Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults Catholic Church Ministries Mass Prayer Sacraments Marriage Children’s Sacramental Preparation Baptism Pastoral Care/Visitation Funeral

The Catholic Parish of Bundaberg offers various services, including Mass and prayer times, sacraments such as Baptism, marriage preparation, funerals, and adult initiation rites. The Catholic Parish of Bundaberg was established in 1866 to serve the Catholic community in the European settlements. In the initial stages, the Catholic population was served by travelling priests. After the construction of Mt Perry Road, a small wooden church was built to provide Catholic services to the locals. The Catholic Parish of Bundaberg offers the sacrament of Baptism, celebrates weekend Masses, and holds special services on select Sundays of the month. The population outgrew the small building, and the current church was built and officially opened for Mass. The Catholic Parish of Bundaberg also has schools to serve the children of the Catholic community and the wider community, providing education and emphasising the importance of faith and humanity. The church's Funeral Ministry supports grieving families by offering services, pastoral care, and guidance during a difficult time of loss. Facilities include halls, recreation areas, an office, a bookstore, and a library.

2025 Update: The church is part of the Rockhampton Diocese.
