“Dr Rakesh Malhotra is a registered endocrinologist specialising in diabetes, obesity, thyroid conditions, menopause, and metabolic bone disease. He completed his endocrinology training with honours from the University of Mumbai, India; Dr Malhotra was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2014. After working as a specialist at Mackay Base Hospital, he moved to Brisbane. Dr Malhotra holds a senior staff specialist position at Caboolture Hospital, managing diabetes and endocrine services. He is passionate about teaching and training medical students and junior doctors; Dr Malhotra holds an adjunct lecturer position at the University of Queensland.”
