“2025 Update: Dr Nicholas Agar completed his medical training at the University of Melbourne in 2003. He completed an additional year of post-fellowship training at Auckland City Hospital. Dr Nicholas Agar was granted Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery in 2013. He has had ongoing appointments at both Geelong University Hospital and St John of God Geelong. His sub-specialty interests are the surgical management of thyroid disease, hyperparathyroidism, and the assessment and treatment of head, neck and laryngeal cancers. He is happy to see patients with general ENT complaints. Dr Nicholas Agar attends the monthly Geelong Endocrine multidisciplinary meeting and works closely with local endocrinologists in managing thyroid and parathyroid disease.”
