I can highly recommend the high tea. We had a group of 8 people and more than enough food for 9 or 10. Everything was lovely and the service was great. The only thing I would change is the table set out for our group, it felt a bit disjointed but otherwise we couldn't fault it and the price was better than anywhere else in Hobart.

A blissful 5 night stay in a beautiful suite with incredible views over the harbour. The fabulous staff were so lovely and deserve a big thank you, and our suite was impeccable….we really didn’t want to leave. Absolutely awesome place to stay in Hobart- we 100% recommend!

Very comfortable room, including bed and furniture. Very helpful staff and relaxed environment. Exceptional food in the restaurant. It is located in a sensational docklands area with beautiful views over the Derwent River. We have already booked to return there next year.

Everything was clean and modern, reception were friendly helpful and welcoming and to top it off our bikes that we brought with us were safe and secure. Our friends who all ride bikes will be advised that this is the place to stay whilst in Hobart. We intend to return, well done.

Convenient to downtown Hobart and the harbor. Suite had everything we needed to eat in if we desired (and we did a couple of times). Water pressure was on the low side on the top floor, but definitely manageable.

We loved our stay in their 2 bedroom apartment- spacious and comfortable. The staff were lovely; reception, room service and housekeeping. We would definitely stay there again. Keep up the good work!

Stunning, modern and so comfortable. Location is magnificent and staff so friendly. Will definitely return ! Each room has it's quirky story and offer an abundance of food and drinks in the Mini Bar. Surrounded by restaurants, bars and of course the water .

The hotel is absolutely stunning , large spacious rooms with stunning water views . The rooms are so well furnished and appointed I didn't want to leave . ||On top of all the wonderful 5 star experience the hotel is full of history and stories at every turn .. we need to return to do all we missed.

First time in Hobart and was celebrating my birthday. The hotel staff made it extra special. From the thoughtful recommendations Adrian on restaurants ( front staff ) and Xu at the breakfast who was friendly and charming to the card and chocolates I received at the knock on my door . Jess gave us an interesting and amusing story tour. Hobart has so much to offer and macq 1 is the place to be. So strategic in location.
