The process of having my grandmother's engagement ring restored was so easy with Kelly's help. She showed me the options in line with the stone size and recommended proportions and away we went. It couldn't have been a more pleasurable experience. There was even the option to apply for the Tasmanian Art Loan Scheme to pay for the cost of having this, which was also a very easy process also. I couldn't be happier with the results of our family heirloom being restored for modern wear for many generations to come, thanks to the Metal Urges jewellers and staff- Highly recommend!

I took a couple of small repair jobs to Metal Urges - and honestly felt a bit silly taking them to a ‘proper’ jeweller! I was delighted with the service and the results. Kelly was so welcoming and helpful and my precious items were fixed quickly and beautifully. They also create beautiful pieces and I would definitely recommend them if you were looking for something really unique.

I’ve always loved mum’s engagement ring and before she died she gifted it to me. I never thought I’d be able to wear it given the arthritis in my fingers. I took it to Metal Urges and am so appreciative of their amazing work, adding a clasp which enables me to wear mum’s ring. It was given a good clean, claws tightened and they even replaced a lost diamond. The service by all staff was exceptional, I couldn’t recommend Metal Urges more highly.

What a great place to have custom jewellery made! Scott designed and made my wedding ring, and was just amazing throughout the entire process. He took my vague ideas and input, kept me involved in every step of refining them into a design, and offered different options for the materials to accommodate different price ranges. I absolutely LOVE the result. On top of that, my ring has a Tasmanian sapphire, which was ethically fossicked. Scott was very friendly and professional throughout. If you want a custom ring, go with this place, you won’t be disappointed.

I worked with Scott to create my dream engagement ring, and he blew me away! Every step was easy, he listened to me and worked within my budget, he put his own artistic twist on my concept and created a piece of art that my fiance and I adore!
