A bittersweet experience, detailing the experiences of the HMAS Sydney II and all those that perished while fighting for what they believed in. The various sculptures and metal constructs well depict the pain, the anger and the sorrow that the event has left many as well as their survivors with. A good jolt perhaps to get you thinking of what freedom costs. The place itself was kept neat and clean and remains one of the highlights of Geraldton!

This is a very impressive memorial. It has so much significance for Australians. For those who lost their family members. At night, the lighting is excellent. And I would recommend seeing this in the daytime. You get to read the history and all the names of those lost. Also, there are great views from here. A short stroll from the city centre.

The memorial and grounds are breathtakingly beautiful. It’s on another level at sunset. We have visited the memorial and admired it every trip to Geraldton and it never tires. The views from atop are stunning and there is a serenity about the place that can’t be described. Worth a visit, especially at sunset.

Love these old goals. Makes you realise how hard the early settlers had it. The prisons were real prisons not like now where they have 3 meals a day, comfortable beds, TV and gyms. They were definitely a hard people back then.

Lots of fun. Some great history here and they have the perfect combination of the old gaol and interesting things to see and very unique little craft shops throughout its cells. Great time and my seven year old loved it.

It's nice to see how was it to be in a jail house longer time ago. Nice idea to fill up the old cells with crafts.

Wonderful staff, asked about some books helped as much as they could then went ff searching for something else I very nice Lady came to find me to explain how I can find related papers online which are not in book format went above and beyond my expectations, it was a pleasure also there was someone singing songs for the kids large group, a few other things, had a quick glance at history or area, I'll be back.

Great books for a regional library. I especially liked some of the art books. There were quite a few new books too.

Helped me to print a form off the internet using one of their computers. Stayed with me, helping all the time. Thank you.
