“Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope was opened in 2003 and has attracted over 13 million visitors. The centre offers court sports, water sports, and swimming activities. They have about 10 staff to look after the centre. They promote events, activities, leisure, and awareness and share information. They are the latest in an exciting range of health, aquatic, leisure, and recreation programmes and services. This includes pools, a gym, group fitness, a creche, a four-court multi-sport stadium, Aqua Learn to Swim, a Kidz Blitz school holiday program, tennis courts, squash courts, a spa and sauna, and venue hire. The centre also provides aquatic facilities. Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope's goal is to increase the strength and fitness of customers' health.

2025 Update: They gave an offer for 3-day trial passes and for students, they gave a 25% discount on select memberships, visit passes and casual visits at their aquatic and leisure centres.”

“Des Renford Leisure Centre is an award-winning facility that has an extensive range of the latest cardio equipment. The centre has a huge range of resistance and functional training equipment and dedicated group fitness and cycle studios. They offer over 65 classes per week. They have a gym, group fitness studios, a variety of indoor and outdoor pools, and an on-site creche. The group fitness studio offers popular Les Mills classes, traditional circuits, boxing, pilates, and yoga classes. There are 500,000 visitors per year. Des Renford Leisure Centre has a large range of water and dry land activities for customers to experience.

2025 Update: The centre offers group fitness and cycle studios, fitness programs for school-aged children and over-50s, an affordable on-site creche with professionally trained staff, a kiosk, BBQ and shaded lawn areas, free parking, and facilities for kids’ birthday parties.”

I can’t say enough good things about Blacktown Leisure Centre! It’s truly a community hub. The range of facilities is impressive—there’s a pool for every age and skill level, from toddlers splashing in the shallow end to serious swimmers in the lanes. The gym is well-equipped, and the group fitness classes are fantastic; they really keep me motivated.

The staff is always friendly and supportive, creating a welcoming environment. Plus, I love that they host events that promote health and wellness in the community. This place has something for everyone.

As a parent, I appreciate the various fitness classes offered, from yoga to aqua aerobics. The staff is attentive and ensure that everyone has a great time. It's great to see such a focus on health and fitness for all ages. Highly recommend for families.

The gym is well-equipped with modern machines, and I love the range of classes they offer. The changing rooms are always clean and spacious, which makes a big difference. My kids enjoy the indoor water features while I get my exercise in. The staff goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and supported. It’s definitely my go-to spot for staying active.

The facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I love the large kids’ area with all the fun water features—it keeps my children entertained for hours.

I can’t recommend Sutherland Leisure Centre enough! The variety of facilities is outstanding, and the staff is always ready to help. The gym classes are challenging and fun, keeping me motivated to stick with my fitness goals. I love that my kids can play safely while I work out.
