Even though I am not from Australia, in fact, I am from a different country, I was able to seek advice from Clive and his solutions were simple, easy to understand, and not to mention practical. I was fortunate to find John and had 8 counselling sessions with him. He was attentive, caring and very good at validating my past experience - allowing me to understand and reflect on what was going on for me. John also engaged me in meaningful discussions so as we could explore my thoughts and feelings about these experiences. I was able to recognise how my thinking was affecting my belief and actions and what I could explore to do, to change my options and thinking. I liked his structured and clear approach to appointments and set-up and would re-visit him again if I needed to.

I was very resistant to going to counseling about our relationship issues, but John made us feel comfortable enough to be open and honest with each other. He provided really good support and advice. John gave us some excellent reading and video resources to help with communication and anxiety for use at home. He also clearly explained how they would help us in the sessions. With the new skills we've learned, our relationship has really improved. We are now equipped for the next time things get bumpy. Plus there's also the added comfort knowing that we can go back to Hope and Resilience to fine tune our relationship skills if things get too tough.

John is a highly professional counsellor, in fact I tried using other services in the past and John's support made a huge difference. We communicated via online sessions, they were really well organised. John has a lot of knowledge and experience and I received a lot of great information and support that facilitated a great positive change for me. I highly recommend John for anyone who needs psychological support.
