My son (8yrs) has been with the Galeb Brothers at Southside since he was 4 yrs old!! He knows the gym is his safe space. He has formed so many awesome friendships with other kids up to 3 years older then him. I am a huge advocater of bjj for kids mental health. It allows them to harness, express and release the energy in such a unique way. I also started my own bjj journey over a year ago. You dont have to be rough or fast or strong to do bjj. You just have to be open-minded and persistent. But the atmosphere and comradeship at Galeb Brothers Southside is what has kept us there.

If you are wanting your child to build self confidence while becoming fit this is by far the best way to do it. With the highly trained and professional instructors your child or children are in great hands. Two Kings is a wonderful facility with passionate and experienced instructors. The breadth of offering in Taekwondo, Muay Thai, Hapkido and JiuJitsu ensures that students have a full array of choices in learning self defense. Shantal is an incredible instructor who encourages success in her students and genuinely cares about their progression in the art. Any student would be lucky to call Two Kings home.

Amazing instructors, my Hapkido sessions are for me a healthy addiction, I look forward to each of them. Two Kings Martial Arts is a very inclusive place to train, no gender, race or age discrimination. Everyone respect each other, I feel at home training with my second family.

Really great experience, especially for beginners. I felt very welcome and with the 3 free trials you make sure you get to know if you like it. We now have the whole family doing muay thai as workout, displine and great comunity. It's definitely a must try if you want to get moving and gain confidence.

I joined Ares 1.5 years ago now and there's not a moment where I haven't felt safe and supported in my training. Jamie, Ty and the senior coaches are approachable and humble and have thus created an environment that supports learning over egos. The community is genuine without being forced nor 'culty'. The content of classes is of a high standard and structure, something I wish I had when starting martial arts. The kids BJJ classes are well organised, thoughtful of each individual student, and a good balance of discipline and fun. I have seen the community of women grow so much since I joined, which is a testament to the vibe and safety of Ares.

I have trialed many martial arts gyms and am happy I chose Ares MMA. It is safe and welcoming for a female and also fun, friendly and physically Challenging. The coach's are VERY accommodating towards members goals, whether it is weight lost, social, mental health, competition or just recreational hobby. The head coach is very involved in fight camps and programming. Kids classes are designed with great thought and with great detail! The coaches genuinely care about the overall development of the young humans, teaching them to be humbling, confident and even teaching them how to emotional regulate.
