3 Best Martial Arts Classes in Sunshine Coast QLD

I started training at Combat Lab 13 years ago. I truly believe my life would've gone in a negative direction without the discipline, focus and direction I've obtained since being apart of the Combat Lab family. I came in as an uncoordinated 19 year old with no discipline. I'm posting this today as a 33 year old amateur mma champion. Combat Lab is so much more than just a mma/bbj gym. Its a community that truly looks out for each other inside and outside of the gym. There are so many positive role models that are genuinely good people. They cater for all skill levels and ages and have students from all walks of life.

I would recommend Combat Lab for all ages, from kids to the over 50’s. All abilities are welcomed and supported. The club consists of a great group of people including athletes competing in MMA and BJJ along with those who just want to learn some skills and get fit in the process.

Fantastic place to train if you are on the Sunshine Coast. Excellent level from beginners to black belt. Cannot recommend highly enough.

My kinship with Kicks Martial Arts goes back about ten years. I was initially nervous to try something I had never done before, but credit to Adam and the team, I quickly felt comfortable and at home. This remains true to this day. Kicks offers a relaxed and respectful atmosphere and allows one to learn at their own pace and focus on achieving their own personal goals. There is a great sense of camaraderie that ties the instructors and students together, and Kicks is a place where I have made a number of lifelong friends. I imagine that this will be the case for you too. I can only heartily recommend.

Kicks Martial Arts has been fantastic for our two sons. Adam and all of the trainers are awesome, such a positive influence. They provide a very positive but disciplined environment. Our boys have learnt so many skills, it's helped with co-ordination and fitness. They have gained so much self confidence and a passion in this sport and that is all thanks to the wonderful support and encouragement from the group of trainers. Highly recommend this kids (and adults!) of all ages, it's an awesome individual yet team/group sport.

Kicks Martial Arts is an amazing local martial arts studio, suitable for children all the way to adults! Our family have been training with Adam for years and cannot recommend the business enough.

Harry Gusman has been working with our 20yo son Eli over the past 3 months with weekly private lessons. Harry has done an exceptional job teaching and connecting with Eli. He has inspired, encouraged, and motivated Eli to push through his challenges and as a result, Eli has grown beyond the boundaries of what he or we thought possible. Harry's knowledge, insight, positivity and authenticity are key to his ability to earn trust and establish a real connection. This experience has been incredibly meaningful for Eli. I highly recommend Harry as a Martial Arts practitioner, and I was truly impressed with his integrated/holistic approach for body, mind and spirit. Eli has significantly improved physically, and we have also seen an elevation in his overall confidence. Thankyou Harry! I highly recommend Harry and his team of instructors, we have had a fantastic experience since joining the KMA family six months ago. I have two young boys and they both look forward to their classes weekly. They are not only being taught how to protect themselves, but also boosting their confidence and being shown how to be great little humans at the same time. Highly recommend for anyone thinking about it for themselves or their children.

My 13 yr old daughter switched from Brazilian jiu-jitsu to KMA about a year ago. She loves it! She is learning lots of new self defence skills and her confidence is soaring. My 4 yr old son started classes in the last couple of months. He too loves it! Harry is an excellent teacher, extremely friendly, encouraging and motivating. Harry's focus is predominantly about teaching respect and how to protect oneself. I would highly recommend Harry's classes. They promote fitness, discipline and self protection.
