Dr. Alessandro (Alex) Fois is a highly skilled neurologist. He obtained his medical education from Oxford Univ., and he finished his postgraduate training in Cambridge (Addenbrooke's Hosp.) and Sydney (Royal Prince Alfred Hosp., St Vincent's Hospital and Westmead Hosp.). He did his Movement Disorders Fellowship at Westmead Hosp. He has clinical interests in movement disorders (such as tremors, Parkinson's disease, and dystonia), headache, and botulinum toxin to treat various general neurological problems. Dr. Alessandro's research is centred on tremors. He has authored numerous book chapters and publications on the subject of tremors and movement disorders. Dr Alex is a clinical lecturer at the Univ. of Sydney and also consults patients in his private practices in Sydney. Dr. Alessandro (Alex) Fois visits St Stephen's Hospital, Hervey Bay, monthly for clinical consultations. He offers telehealth follow-up consultations. Alex is passionate about extending the reach of neurological care in Australia and using the power of telehealth.
