Dr Julia Thompson has published research on autoimmune epilepsies, with a focus on LGI1 autoimmune encephalitis, and maintains ongoing collaborations with the Oxford research group. She is passionate about teaching and holds the position of Clinical Lecturer at King’s College London and Oxford University. She has received several awards for her contributions to education and leadership in Sydney and the UK. Dr Julia Thompson is a member of various professional organisations, including the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP), the Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurologists (ANZAN), the Movement Disorders Society for Australia and New Zealand (MDSANZ), the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), the British Association of Neurologists (ABN), the Neurohospitalist Society (NHS), the International Headache Society (IHS), and the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE). Very friendly staff but more so an awesome neurologist. Dr James Hughes is friendly, engaging and a very funny guy which definitely helps when you’re feeling a little anxious. I strongly recommend this centre to anyone requiring this type of service.

I found Dr Hughes to be a very good Neurologist. Very thorough with his examinations, a sense of humour and compassionate. I woulf recommend him if you are looking for a good Neurologist.

Dr. Lisa dark ...dr has treated both my husband and myself for different reasons and we have found her to be very caring in all her treatment and advise she has given to us over several visits to her over the yrs..we always speak highly of her ...we are still regular patients and we enjoy our visits to see her.....and the staff are always cheerful and helpful 100% to them all.

Provided education about the disease and explains everything and giving personalised care for the patients.

Dr Thompson really takes the time to understand your situation and is an amazing listener. She does not dismiss your pain and tries her best to solve your problem. Aoife is also amazing with her communication and is responsive to emails which is very helpful sometimes.

The wait was worth it! After seeing a few others this was hands down the best headache doctor I have seen. So thorough and the botox process was so smooth. I have my life back.

Great neurologist. very thorough and explains everything well. Was recommended to me by a friend and did not disappoint. Botox was amazing and headache free for the first time! Worth the wait.
