“Mr Paul Plank is an Australian and internationally trained orthopaedic surgeon. He was born and educated in Melbourne, completing his medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 1993. After completing his residency at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, he undertook a Research Fellowship at the renowned Joe Miller Orthopaedic Research Laboratory at the Montreal General Hospital, Quebec, Canada. He then completed orthopaedic training in Sydney and obtained a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2004. Mr Plank has published articles in his areas of clinical interest, maintains a keen interest in teaching students, and is a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.

Paul is an amazing surgeon he goes out of his way to explain all you need to know 6 weeks ago I had a hip replacement surgery ,I have a new life doing all the things I have not been able to do for years.He said it was really good to do rehab while in hospital and then out pPatients rehab the best thing you can do as I am in my 70sthanks so much Paul and also your wonderful staff at the office especially Heather.

Highly recommend Mr Paul Plank. He listens, understands, explains, and has achieved a remarkable result with my shoulder surgery, after suffering from a failed first one.

The best decision I have ever made, listen to a friend who was 100 percent happy with Pauls work on his knee. I'm also very happy with my knee replacement. I couldn't have found a better Surgeon.

I rarely leave reviews of any kind Mr Paul Plank is an excellent communicator who explains the PROS and CONS of the procedure and explains it in a way that you can understand. Great to walk into any workplace and see the staff happy and smiling and interacting together at all levels. Mr Plank obviously promotes and nurtures a great work environment. Mr Plank is a Genuine Nice Bloke. Not to mention rather than Surgery Mr Plank injected the area which was a painless procedure. But wow the change in pain levels has been amazing. - DC Reply

After years of arthritic pain my GP refered me to Dr Csongvay and he confirmed what I thought - medication was benifiting the pharmacutical companies, but not my pain. He clearly explained my options in layman terms I could understand. The follow up after the operation was excellent and Steve made himself available for questions. I have now regained use of my hand and there is no more pain!! The "bed side" manner of this surgeon and his staff (Norma) is exceptional. You are not treated like a number and it's refreshing to see quality personal service is still alive and well.

As a nurse with over 30 years experience, I can confidently say that Steve clearly stands out as a highly-skilled surgeon and, as importantly, a great communicator and caring health professional. Both my son and, more recently, myself have had successful surgical treatment of shoulder injuries and cannot rate our experience highly enough. His support manager Norma (Malvern) is always helpful and seeks to ensure all relevant needs are met - thanks again.
