Jingili Water Gardens is a special place for the Larrakia people, the First Nations custodians of the land and waters of the greater Darwin Region. The park provides secure and private facilities for people with disabilities who have high support needs, require assistance from a carer, and need specialised equipment. Jingili Water Gardens contains lily ponds, a community garden, BBQs, accessible toilets, adult change facilities, a shaded all-abilities play space, and a skate park. The park offers something for the whole family. These facilities include an adult-sized, height-adjustable change table, a hoist, and ample space for two assistants. The park also has an accessible play space featuring a turntable, swings, a balance log, a tunnel, and musical instruments. The play space within the Water Gardens is shaded and includes a green play nest and an accessible change facility, featuring artwork by the Freespace Studio Public Art Collective, in collaboration with Darwin Community Arts.

2025 Update: Jingili Water Gardens venue is perfect for children, offering a playground and being ideal for kids' birthdays, while also being pet-friendly with dogs allowed, wheelchair-accessible, and open 24 hours for added convenience.
