“Leanyer Recreation Park features a lagoon, water slides, a wet and dry playground, and a skatepark with plenty of grass, shade, and BBQs for families to use free of charge. They have three water slides, 14m tall and over 100m long. The theme park has shaded gas barbecues and picnic areas. Their dry area consists of a large grassed area, a playground, and a half basketball court. At Leanyer Recreation Park, children under ten years must be supervised by someone aged 16 or older. Leanyer Recreation Park's lifeguards are on duty during pool and water playground opening hours. Their wet play area and lagoon rides are open from Wednesday to Sunday, and their slides are available on weekdays.

LEANYER RECREATION PARK REVIEWS

This is a great water park for kids, with several playgrounds, pool with life guard, and 3 water slides. There are also many shaded area with benches for families to sit and enjoy. It has BBQ area too, auto machine for drinks and snacks. If you want to stay longer, better bring your lunch and snack as no food offered nearby. There are two toilet areas with one with shower facilities. It’s a great place to be outdoor with kids. Moreover, it has lifeguards and staff all the time and FREE!

Awesome water park. So much fun for the whole family. I can't believe it is free. They could easily charge $10-$15 dollars and be fully worth it. A fantastic water playground for the little ones and the bigger ones too. The slide are an amazing attraction. It was really great to see them taking such an effort with Covid-19 restrictions. Fantastic. Loved it. It made our holiday worth it.

PALMERSTON WATER PARK REVIEWS

We came here during our Darwin trip. It’s a great place for kids to play in the water and it is FREE! The waterslides are the big attraction to families. They open at 11am with staff maintaining safety. My boys enjoyed this place very much! But remember to bring your own food as there is no shop nearby. You can only buy snacks and drinks at the auto machine.

The kids had a ball here. Massive waterslide is the main attraction for bigger kids with a few water play areas for the little ones. Amazing and free. Thanks Palmerston!

Lovely spot to access for families. Great little facility for a budget day out and keep kids entertained.

AQUA PARK PTY LTD REVIEWS

Thank you to Aqua Park for accommodating our large group booking of over 30 people before normal open hours (8-10am). The only negative things encountered were light scratches from barnacles, and the BLOB was too low to launch full-size adults. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the equipment and park were in very good condition and everyone had a great time. Great job Aqua Park team.

Great fun, definitely the kids' highlight of our Darwin trip. Would recommend booking online as it gets quite busy especially during the school holidays. Roman and his team did an excellent job!

Brilliant fun for the family. Kids had a ball and easily located and accessible.
