Queens Park Toowoomba is a popular 25-hectare park and botanic garden that offers a beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The park has tree-lined avenues, open space sporting ovals, all-abilities playgrounds, and barbecue and picnic facilities. It hosts many community activities and annual events. Each year, thousands of seedlings are planted in geometric-shaped garden beds to bloom at their peak during the Carnival of Flowers. The southeast and northwest corners provide large grassy expanses for sports, along with a special swing for the enjoyment of disabled children. Queens Park also has amenities such as four public toilet blocks, botanical gardens, and two playgrounds.

It offers spectacular seasonal transformations throughout the year. The park is also renowned for its beautiful, mature trees, including the English Oak and Lithocarpus Tree. Laurel Bank Park includes a scented garden with richly aromatic plants and herbs, making it a popular spot for relaxing picnics and barbecues. Tables and chairs are available under the trees throughout the park. The park also provides free live music performances. Parking is available on Herries and Hill Streets, with additional off-street parking access from Hill Street.
