Berrima District Historical & Family History Society promotes the study of Australian, local, and family history and works towards creating a museum and establishing a permanent archive. The historical society is dedicated to preserving the documentary and material heritage of the Southern Highlands in New South Wales. Berrima District Historical & Family History Society collections cover the major towns of Bowral, Mittagong, Moss Vale, Robertson, and Bundanoon, as well as the numerous villages in the region, including Balaclava, Braemar, Avoca, Aylmerton, Berrima, Burrawang, Canyonleigh, Hilltop, Kangaloon, Penrose, Colo Vale, Exeter, Glenquarry, Sutton Forest, Tallong, Wildes Meadow, and Wingello. Sixty Foot Falls is the only waterfall that has walking trails catering to every fitness level. The Falls also features a hike. Sixty Foot Falls offers a walk from medium-grade trails to the base of the falls. Visitors can enjoy wildflowers during the spring months of September and October. The track starts at the Mount Alexandra car park and descends into the Nattai River valley below. After reaching the valley, you'll cross the river and continue to the base of Sixty Foot Falls. The track is mostly easy to follow, though some sections are rocky and include steep, loose areas. Proper footwear is recommended for safety and comfort. Sixty Foot Falls is open 24 hours a day.
