They also offer eAudiobooks, eMagazines, and films that are streamed to your computer or mobile device with your library card. “Mittagong Railway Station serves the town of Mittagong in the Southern Highlands and was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999. The station is the junction for the former alignment of the Main South Railway line from Picton, as well as the now-dismantled line that once served the ghost town of Joadja. Mittagong Railway Station has two side platforms and is served by NSW TrainLink Southern Highlands Line services, which operate between Campbelltown and Moss Vale. There are also limited morning services to Sydney Central and limited evening services to Goulburn. Mittagong Railway Station complex is of particular historical significance, featuring an early railway building from 1867 that remains intact within the group.”

BOWRAL LOOKOUT REVIEWS

Beautiful lookout & serene place to be. Minutes drive from Bowral city centre. Three large benches with tables, one undercover table & bench, grass area, toilets make it great place for a quick picnic. Would be interesting to visit the lookout at night and watch the lights.

Amazing place. Went there on a cold and windy day. It was very cold even though the temperature was 11C. The views are really great. The entry to the carpark was closed for road maintenance. The walk to the lookout from the closed gate is about 120 m. Easy walk.

Nice place for picnic and scenic view. Loved the town can spend 2-3 days in the town. Lot to explore.

MITTAGONG PUBLIC LIBRARY REVIEWS

I take my 2 year old grandson there just about every week. The librarians treat him with such kindness and know his interests and often have one or two books there for him to look at. He loves going there and is developing a love of books. A real treasure for the community - building, location and especially the staff.

Friendly cosy little library, if you're after the old school library experience this is the place to visit in the Southern Highlands.

MITTAGONG RAILWAY STATION REVIEWS

I came here after selling my car. The station Is absolutely amazing. I've uploaded a photo of the foot bridge, which to me is the central focus of the entire station. The station has easy disabled access and is staffed at various times through the week. I was there and the train that took me to Sydney was a diesel endeavour. From the station it's a 2 minute walk tocthe main street where there are cafes. The best public restrooms are located about a 10 minute walk to the lake where there are a large amenities building.

I'm loving the clean lines of the new lift structures. A Sulman Award for the architect is due in my opinion.
