3 Best Golf Courses in Mittagong NSW

I have just had a great 2 days at KVGC. I stayed in a 3 bedroom villa with 5 friends. The villa was very well set out, tremendous views out over the course and extremely comfortable. We only played 9 holes but loved the course and keen to play again. Dinner- 6 of the best dishes to the table. Pasta, seafood and beef cheeks. George- the owner and our host was one of the happiest and most attentive, interesting waiters ever. The little township of Kangaroo Valley (including the pub) well worth a visit. Cannot wait to go back.

Our first visit for dinner, and we wish we hadn’t left it so long! Everything was excellent - well presented, tasty food, good service and a very pleasant room. We will certainly be back. A relief to have this as a quality dining option in the Valley

This review is for the dinner we had. We live local so no need to say over night. The atmosphere is beautiful and dinner was amazing, fresh and true to Italian roots. it's been awhile since I have been impressed with a restaurant but finally have found a new local favourite

Really enjoyable layout that’s not too hard but a number of narrow fairways requires good shots off the tee for there to be any chance of a good approach shot. Greens were surprisingly slick and best part of the course. Some fairways still recovering from recent wet weather. Nice simple clubhouse and bistro with traditional pub food as well as Asian Yum Cha that was unexpected. Worth a visit.

Wow I seriously don't know why there isn't a que out the door. The wife had garlic prawns. And I have Garfish which wasn't on the menu. Possibly the best fish I have ever had. Outstanding meal. Of I'm ever in Mittagong again ill be coming back here

The best dumplings in the Southern Highlands - hands down. Will is a local legend and I'd drive from Sydney to eat his food.

Have always wanted to play here and finally got there! Beautiful, challenging course, late tee time so playing the 18 by torch light was very romantic and picturesque. Played a social round with friends so no gps didn’t matter! Staff very friendly and welcoming, tiger snakes asleep but still didn’t risk venturing into the rough! Will definitely be back, maybe in summer!

Loved this course, very well laid out. It's peaceful and the only noise you'll hear all day is the trains that pass through. We saw kangaroos and reindeer running around. It's a long track with plenty of long par 5s but easy to walk as not very hilly or long distances between greens and next tee. Look forward to coming back again.

Fantastic course and a great challenge of your golfing skills (especially in the heavy wind). Fairways have been widened and rough has been cut down to make the course more playable than years gone by. Definitely recommend this golf course and definitely will come back for another game.
