3 Best Seafood Restaurants in Port Macquarie NSW

The atmosphere was phenomenal! Right on the water and a lovely interior. The staff took great care of us while dinning. We had the “fruit de mare” for two and WOW was that delicious and incredibly reasonable. It had a great cold course and then warm course. As a test to a good chef - the calamari and octopus were cooked PERFECTLY and had great flavor. As two foodies, we couldn’t recommend it enough! Next time we are in Australia, we will definitely come back.

The restaurant has had a makeover and looks great. It's been a few years since we were here last, but we love it. It is right on the water, you can watch the bird life and the boats and planes go by. Staff are lovely, we were greeted from the moment we walked in. Food is great. We had the main of seafood chowder and lovely bottle of wine (took half it home) We will be back next time we are down this way.

It is my favourite restaurant in all of Mid North Coast!! I've had two of my wedding anniversaries there and several other special occasions, and it's a place I always make sure to take friends and family to. The service is impeccable, the atmosphere is cozy and fancy, and the volume is tolerable. it's a fantastic excuse to dress up fancy and enjoy amazing oysters and various sea foods. Their drinks and deserts are a MUST to try! This is the restaurant that made me fall in love with oysters and wine. The wine selection is superb. I can't wait to go back again, and again, and again.

The food was excellent.The staff are very friendly. The only thing was the young waiternrss, said the specials so fast.I couldn't understand a word... So, I had to reread it at the board. Apart from that , it's a beautiful atmosphere and great service with great food.

Lovely spot in the heart of Port Macquarie. Friendly local service. Cosy interior even on a cold night. Creative menu. The food was delicious, with unique and bold flavours. Our favourite dishes were the fried squid, which came with an incredible black garlic emulsion sauce and chilli jam, and the barramundi with cauliflower. Fish taco was also good.

I had the privilege of devouring the best value and freshest seafood feast at Port Macquarie. Thank you to the team at the Big Oyster for preparing amazing lobster mornay and fresh oysters. The fresh prawns were also divine. This place is a must stop-off for any Port Macquarie itinerary.

The absolute best service! Met them on their way out, they turned around and opened up the shop again for me. Such kind and friendly people, really brightened up my day. And the fish was fresh and delicious, we enjoyed the best dinner. Thank you.

Such a surprise to find this authentic fish shop sitting out over the water. The fish and chips were delicious and the prawns and oysters were fabulous. Thoroughly recommend it.
