3 Best Steakhouses in Port Macquarie NSW

We were planning on going to a nearby fish and chips shop, but as we walked past this restaurant, the “What a Catch” item caught our eye on the menu so we pivoted to eat here instead. So glad we did!! We thoroughly enjoyed the meal (we all ordered the same thing!). Service was great too. The sticky date pudding was the best I’ve ever had and I highly recommend it.

Visited On a Friday evening. Was seated very quickly. Surpised by how big and spacious it is inside. We asked that the kids were served first and they were. After kids were finished eating they were brought some pencils for colouring activities. Waiter was very polite. We ordered Sirloin Steak dinners, and shortly after receiving our meal we were asked if the steak was cooked to our liking (I have never been asked this before and was very impressed). Experience was very good and wouldn't rate any less than 5.

Single bikers dinner. 1200km 4 days, just for a steak. No not joking. Hasn't been a HB near me in Sydney for over a decade. Nothing changed. They even belted out a 600g Prime Rib El Grande without hassle even though not on menu anymore. Well worth the visit. Back to sydney I go.

Had a lovely meal at The Grill on a busy Tuesday night. Service was excellent, our host mentioned that meal times maybe a little longer as we walked in the door (which is fabulous service) as they were busy, but the meals weren't delayed and all service prompt. I had the delicious pork belly and my mate had the fab lamb shanks (yes note the S as there was 2 shanks!!). Recommend The Grill for a all round great dining experience.

I read a question on our local Facebook Port Macquarie Noticeboard and was interested to see the answers. I then proceeded to the website of the most recommended restaurant and really liked what I saw. Hubby asked me today are we going out today and I said yes please I read some great reviews about The Grill Seafood & Steak Restaurant and wanted to go there. Well we were not disappointed, the atmosphere, the ambiance, the location, lovely friendly wait staff, the food was absolutely magnificent, so relaxing and enjoyable.

Yum! Always have a lovely time at Chop ‘n Chill, their exciting menu never fails to impress. Food was absolutely delicious and kept me full well beyond lunch time. Breakfast menu offered an extensive range, the hardest part was simply deciding what to have. Couldn’t go past a classic Bacon and egg roll accompanied with some very crispy and tasty potatoes! My husband ventured out and tried the Chilli folded eggs, which had a lovely bit of spice to them and the addition of lime juice really helped to balance the meal. Our little one chowed down his own Kids bacon eggs benny and enjoyed not 1 but 2 baby chinos requesting ‘more’. The staff were so friendly and meals and drinks came out in a very timely fashion. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

We had the fish tacos and Thai beef salad overlooking the ocean, whales playing around whilst being treated to an awesome playlist of 80s music. Amy is the ultimate host and we will be back for the share platter next time.

It was a lovely experience at this beautiful restaurant, staff are very friendly and pet friendly too. This is the best restaurant so far that I've been. Love to go back again, and it's definitely worth sharing. Food, staff all amazing.
