I've had a delightful experience setting up a custom holiday with Tanja Poole. She has gone above and beyond to ensure we have the best time. I feel very confident that we will enjoy a hassle free trip knowing that she will only be an email / phone call away if we encounter a problem. Her knowledge of the places we are going to meant she could offer suggestions and "must do" outings that we are excited about. The anticipation begins.

Walked into HelloWorld Mt Pleasant. Was greeted by Carlye. Told Carlye I had found a tour of the US that I'd like to do... Carlye did the rest, making everything seem so effortless. Her experience ensured every I was dotted and every t crossed and helped out with some amazing New York tours to get the trip rolling. Thank-you Carlye - HelloWorld should be proud of you.

The Adventure Lodge is very modern, clean and accommodating to all. It has such a welcoming and open vibe, the rooms are amazing, the staff are super lovely. We did the 3 night/ 2 day tour (incl the platypus tour, sunrise with wallabies and wakeboarding) and it was an amazing experience. Would 100% recommend to all travellers/backpackers. It’s such a lovely experience, and somewhere not everyone always goes to. Truly a hidden gem and a 10/10 experience. Our tour guide Michelle was just incredible, she has the best vibe, is committed to her job, very passionate and informative and good fun. She took so many lovely pictures for us which we were super grateful for. That girl deserves a massive pay rise.

Mackay Adventure Tours is a hidden gem of the East Coast which more people definitely need to book onto! We booked the Sandy Hop package which included 2 days full of super fun activities. Michelle lead our tours and she was fantastic! Super knowledgeable about the area & really friendly. We spotted Platypus, went for a swim in the gorge, watched the sunrise with local wild life & had a go at wake boarding, enjoying a free welcome drink after. I couldn’t recommend enough. It’s super handy that Michelle acts as your personal photographer for the day so you can live in the moment & still end up with some great pics (for free!).

The platypus paradise tour and the sunrise with the wallabies tour were both great experiences! Michelle is a fantastic tour guide and an absolute sweetheart. The minibus we drove around in is super comfortable and clean. I had a lovely time exploring the gorgeous area around Mackay, thanks!
