I've never engaged in Yoga before and happened to be having a coffee at the same coffee shop one day as Shelley. She told me about the Long Slow Flow class that she was instructing at Yoga Fix the following day and I thought I'd give it a go. What can I say, not being a natural to Yoga, Shelley is such an amazing instructor! I left feeling that my mind and body were in sync with a renewed energy and focus, not to mention improved flexibility. I returned again and had another sensational experience this week, I've even given Shelley the nickname of the catalyst of positive energy. I definitely recommend this class and Yoga Fix. Thanks team, keep up the great work, Ashton.

This is the best Yoga-studio I've ever been to. The ladies are lovely, really friendly and down to earth. I was nervous when I decided to start my yoga journey but I was welcomed into such a beautiful community. 5 years on and I'm still yoga-ing and so grateful to have found this safe space to practice and be. Definitely recommend Yoga Fix Mackay.

I am no junkie but Yoga Fix hook me up all the time, great studio, awesome teachers and classes are fun. Joined with my wife after she said give it a go, and now it is hard when we can't go, I may never be a rubber band but better for it, thanks Yoga Fix.

Prior to seeking Ayurvedic advice from Sue I had suffered from low energy levels for a considerable time, as well as developing intermittent debilitating gastroenteritis symptom in recent years. I had pursued a variety of treatments and advice over the years, with no success. Unfortunately, I had become resigned to these chronic conditions characterising my life. At the beginning of 2020 I commenced my Ayurvedic healing journey with Sue and gradually my life has been transformed. My energy levels have rebounded, my creativity has returned, and I no longer live with the threat of an unexpected bout of gastroenteritis disrupting my life for days. I now wake with enthusiasm for my day and I have the energy to pursue whatever I choose, or that may come my way. Sue’s professionalism, passion for her Ayurvedic practice and caring approach make each encounter with her inspiring and reassuring. I am so grateful that I have been able to reap the benefits of Ayurvedic science and medicine through 8 Limb Yoga and Ayurvedic. I unreservedly recommend Ayurvedic medicine and Sue Deakin to anyone who genuinely wants to achieve ongoing health and wellbeing.

I have regularly practiced yoga with Sue at 8 Limb Yoga Studio since February 2015. I have always enjoyed and resonated with the style of yoga she teaches along with the input of sound Ayurvedic principles as a foundation. I have felt enormous benefits to my health and wellbeing using the tonics and oils Sue has recommended for me according to my Ayurvedic dosha along with implementing the practices of breathing and meditation to my daily yoga practice. She now offers Yoga online which suits my routine for morning practice and additionally I have the benefit of logging on to other classes when it suits me.

Teacher training was awesome. Many personal benefits from doing Sue's classes. Being in Sue's classes is the best thing to learn how to conduct a yoga class because she does it so thoughtfully.

It’s been 4+ years since my last review of TYM. Has my opinion changed? No! Just strengthened. Ash, Shannon & more recently MaryAnn have continued to grow into beautiful friends not because I go regularly to class but because they make me & everyone feel inclusive. Classes & Workshops for everyone, teachers offering support & guidance on your mat journey but also listening actively in how your home life, work life, diet & other past times may affect your practice. Relaxing, spacious & welcoming. There’s always something happening. More like part of your home than a studio. So go on, give TYM a go! You won’t be disappointed.

A tranquil location in Mackay with friendly, knowledgeable and caring Yoga Teachers. A beautiful way to connect with oneself and the wider community. Ash and Shannon make you feel fully supported in all levels of asanas and cater for anyone needing modifications. I love the space and the classes. Thank you.
