Good day trip from Sydney. Easy access from the train station (across the road). Good pub food, good portion sizes, fresh and flavourful. Had lunch during the Tulip Festival, service was fast considering they were busy. Tables are spaced out, making it easy to have a conversation and enjoy a leisurely lunch. The best part about this venue is their staff. The warmest of welcome and acknowledgment from Caroline as soon as you walk in the door or approach the bar. Tara has a passion for service and manages the venue with ease and a very high standard of service. Honourable mention to Ben and Thomas.

We popped in here for a drink on Saturday afternoon to celebrate our anniversary and I’m so glad we did. The licensee went out of her way to make the night special. Excellent service, great food and a great atmosphere with live music. Highly recommend.

Very well cooked and presented food as decent prices. Kids meals excellent value. Outdoor beer garden very inviting, packs out quickly on a nice weekend. Centrally located venue. Was hard to fault, especially for the price of lunch and drinks for the family.

Enjoyed a great lunch today with some friends celebrating a special occasion. Every bite was delicious (highly recommend the lamb), service was friendly, cheerful & efficient and we never felt rushed despite being the last table to leave the dining room. An exceptional wine list and their gin bar (which we didn't sample but did explore the list) has a world wide selection. We'll definitely return.

Hard to fault the experience at Bistro Sociale. I love it every time I go there. Great food, up market atmosphere, polite staff, and separate gin and whisky bars. Great for a romantic dinner or larger meal with friends. Kid-friendliness: Children are welcome but it is a formal restaurant and bar, so probably take the young ones that need to run around somewhere else. Great venue for a slow meal and a chat.

From the cosy fireplace to the extensive gin menu & cocktails, exceptional food and friendly service, it's the perfect night out!

Went there for small lunch and drinks on a sunny Highlands day. Perfect. Lots of options re seating areas...menu was good. Saw lots of share platters coming out for a Christmas lunch gathering who were situated near us. Food and selection looked amazing. Had heard bad reports re the cost of steaks but decided to access myself. Steaks are expensive but hopefully you get what you pay for. Would highly recommend the venue. Loved it. Will certainly become a favorite if food remains good and drinks don't become over priced.

Amazing motel. Big King bed and large rooms. Bathroom had a bathtub as well. Lovely view overlooking the dam. Can’t fault this accommodation. Had dinner next door in the pub which was also lovely. Great location, only 5 min into Bowral itself. Very clean and had a lovely stay.

Stopped in for a drink as the place I was staying did not have a bar. Called ahead to confirm availability and was able to get through unlike a few other places in the area. The lady behind the bar who served me was nice,cocktails were good and the atmosphere was very relaxed both inside and out.
