3 Best Cafes in Sunshine Coast, QLD

This a popular cafe/restaurant that is right next to the beach with lots of outdoor tables and some indoor tables. We stopped here for brunch whilst travelling down the coast. My other half had poached eggs with bacon on toast, they were fine. I ordered zucchini & corn fritters and they were the most unappealing fritters I’ve ever had - too big, too brown (deep fried), too much. They tasted better than they looked thanks to all the relish, corn & rocket under the fritters. There was also a lot of chopped chorizo. I opted not to have a poached egg. There is a photo online of the same dish, posted 7 months ago, and that’s how fritters should look - not the big ugly brown fried things I got served today. Prices are steep too, $26 for the fritters on the Breakfast menu. Cappuccinos were good. I would not return for a meal here.

Delightful spot on the beach. Good coffee from knowledgeable baristas. The young lady that served me ( didn't catch her name but had cool tattoos on her arm) was so personable and perfectly suited for a first interaction of the day. Two more nights in Kings Beach will look forward to going back tomorrow.

My favourite cafe in Caloundra. Great food, service and coffee. Beautiful view of Kings Beach and an amazing atmosphere. The Acai smoothie and smashed Avocado are my favourites but I have tried just about everything on the menu and cannot fault it.

Came here for brunch/ breakfast every day of our little trip up to Maleny. Each meal was delicious and super fresh, gave great service and they took our food allergies very seriously. Would highly recommend Monica’s to anyone visiting the area.

Lovely lunch at Monica’s! We had the lamb and rosemary filo with salad and the buckwheat breakfast crepe. Both were delicious. To top it off was a turmeric latte and a very tasty Tim Adams cafe latte. Thoroughly enjoyable.

We got both got the eggs Benny and absolutely loved it. First time I’ve been at a cafe like this and genuinely enjoyed their home made hollandaise sauce Coffee was okay, beans were on the weaker side but I know some like that. Will definitely stop by next time I’m up the mountain.

We had a fantastic time at Decision Coffee Shop! They offer delicious vegetarian options, have friendly staff, and a cozy atmosphere. A must-visit for anyone looking for a great coffee shop with vegetarian options and a welcoming vibe.

We went to New Decisions Cafe today for a brunch. We had the special cappuccino, my husband had the fried rice and I went for the big breakfast. Everything was delicious! Was actually hard to decided as the entire menu looks amazing. We will definitely go back and try more!

Pretty nice brunch spot with a really concept of offering a nice menu selection of both ‘superfood’ and ‘superjunk’. Coffee was ok and a bit on the pricy side but the food was pretty good.
