Location is spot on. Right on the beach and perfect for a sunset fish and chips by the park or beachfront. The fish is out of this world fresh, chips are tasty and not over salted. Batter was crispy as, with no greasy mess like other places I've been too. Prices are more than reasonable, and if you like fish and chips, why read this review? Go there!! Now!! It's great.

Staff were young and not overly accommodating. We asked to see if they could change out the crap stick a piece of calamari instead, but apparently they couldn’t do that.. BUT the fish and chips. We had cod and it was amazing. The chips were cooked perfectly with the right amount of chicken salt. I can’t flaw the food. Like yeah staff could be better but the food was amazing. Probably one of the best fishing chips I’ve ever had. prices are reasonable too. Do yourself a favour and head over there now. Don’t think about it.

We decided to have a stop in Caloundra for lunch on our way to Mooloolaba and remembered driving past a fish n chip place on a previous visit to the area and decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint. Everything was cooked to perfection and not over oily. Crisp and tasty batter was found on the fish and potato scallops and the fish was very fresh.

Drove down the coast and wasn’t disappointed at all, from the cod, battered sausage, curry sauce, gravy to the star of the show chips! Felt like home and will be returning.

Best fish n chips ever!! Gotta love a British homemade cut chips. It’s been over decade to enjoy Atlantic cods.. it’s delicious as tasty. Definitely recommend.

Must say, as a self proclaimed expert of British fish and chips and previous owner of British fish and chips shops, Fryer of Whitby is by far the best I have come across in Australia! You can tell the owner has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the industry and isn’t just winging it like other so called British Chippys and he is using real North Atlantic Cod! The Chips - AMAZING.

As an Englishman I love my fish and chips, and I can tell you this establishment serves some of the finest I’ve had in this country. The cod was battered perfectly crispy and fillet ever so tender - the fries were spot on too. Pictured below is my meal, which came to just under 20 dollars (very fair in my opinion). The staff have been friendly the two times I have visited, I will most definitely be returning.

The service is excellent and the food outstanding!! Not only is it so fresh and tastes great but such a generous serving. Would 100% recommend this place to everyone.

My brother and I enjoyed fish and potato scallops, as well as a fisherman's basket for our evening meal. The service by the staff was tops, and when we got back to our accommodation, the batter on my fish was so light and delicious, and the thickness and flavour of the scallops was mouthwatering. I can thoroughly recommend this Cafe for your next fish meal.
