ST VINCENT'S CATHOLIC CHURCH

40 Hamilton Avenue, Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, QLD 4217 Directions

Since 1955

Here’s The Deal:
"
St Vincent's Catholic Church initially served the community with a wooden building for roughly 60 attendees. The church was originally a part of Southport parish, but due to the growing numbers of attendees and visitors, the Reverand father decided to build a new brick building. In 1948, the construction of the church building was completed and was opened for masses. In the continuing year, with the guidance of the Sisters of Mercy, the church opened a school with 30 children. St Vincent's Catholic Church is one of the larget parishes that offer opportunities to serve and visit the church that is safer and inviting in nature."

To serve the rapidly growing vibrant parish community, the church and transferred to a new location where every community people are welcome to attend masses. The church's capacity was outnumbered soon, and the Reverand fathers were pleased to move or build a bigger church building.
