A gem. We stumbled across this gorgeous take away that is old style at its finest! The burgers with the lot were so yummy! And the choice of lollies brought so many memories back from the 80s! Thank you , it was a treat.

The best fish and chips I have had for years and the service was great, I couldn't fault it. Keep up the good work.

Yum yum yum, I had a hamburger with the lot, with a potato cake instead of the meat, I haven't had one that good in years, highly recommended, I'll be ordering from here again.

Called in for lunch today and a coffee ...the bacon and egg roll was cooked to perfection and well presented. The cook didn't skimp on the bacon either! Outstanding customer service and the staff all got on well and respected one another... l'll definitely be going back there.

Easily one of the, if not the best takeaway I’ve had, the chips are very good, the fish is good sometimes and the potato cakes are the best, highly recommend it.

Honestly I don’t get why people are Complaining, I’ve Been going to Effie’s ever since we moved to this part of town in 2016, the family that run the shop have been nothing but Respectful. The food is amazing compared to the other fish and chip shops in Albury wodonga, chips are amazing same with the battered savs the savs remind me of the school canteen ones I used to love. So Effie and team great service and Great food.

Finally, I found a decent fish and chip shop. The scallops are quality and then some .... I will be back.

The grilled fish is beautiful from Effie’s with a lovely light herb crumb. Effie and her son are always so friendly too.
