3 Best Italian Restaurants in Tamworth NSW

Incredibly friendly staff made us feel at home right away. We had the Seafood Scoglio which was just divine. Prepared and displayed well and served quickly after ordering. Service people were experienced and it showed. They knew just how to treat a guest well and made the whole experience enjoyable, with the obvious exception of Rebecca forgetting our water - possibly on purpose, although now that I think about it her rapid service of our ordered drinks more than made up for this conspiracy.

The staff were amazing, super inviting and friendly! and the food was delicious. will definitely be coming back.

Great food and great service from all staff. Most enjoyable experience and we will be back .

Amazing friendly staff, very family feel to this place, we were so pleased to be invited out the back where they grow their fresh ingredients and have a beautiful set of picnic tables with umbrellas for shade, the menu had a great variety, pizzas were fresh and well made, we also brought a pasta that was great to have as well. Very yummy, we will be back next time we visit Tamworth. Thanks for the hospitality, your staff are well mannered, and always asked if we required anything else to ensure we were happy with everything, they also overheard us speaking and mentioned we can order half half pizzas as we it was too hard for us to choose which one we wanted the most, this gave is the pleasure of trying more flavours haha thanks!

A M A Z I N G!! Comparing to a few different Italian cuisine experiences we are so glad Papa Luigi’s has been able to expand and embrace the restaurant feel! Seems like they have settled in quickly to the new location and we had amazing service, food, and atmosphere! Thank you!

So far, the best food we have had in Australia. We were very surprised. Thank you! The pizzas was delicious and the lasagna was even better.

We popped in after prowling the streets looking for dinner while staying overnight in Tamworth. It's only a small shop-front - they were clearly gearing up for a big night of takeaways and weren't expecting dine-ins, but sat us down warmly and served us very quickly. The pizza was delicious and just the right amount for us to take back to the hotel for a few sneaky leftovers. Watching them work, I was super impressed at the whole team's service to us, as well as their pick-up customers and phone in orders.

Delicious pizzas, one of the best we ever tried, the pasta was so yummy , great customer service... highly recommended.
