“Wagga Wagga Rail Heritage Station Museum operates four venues around the Wagga rail precinct. Wagga Wagga Rail Heritage Station Museum is located on the historic Wagga Wagga Station platform. They also have two larger sheds housing railway trikes and equipment and a 1881 railway enginemen's barracks building that has been resurrected into a display area for railway artefacts. The Wagga Wagga Rail Heritage Station Museum has organised tours for groups featuring talks, hands-on operation of equipment, and stories from former employees.”

WAGGA WAGGA CITY LIBRARY REVIEWS

Great and modern library, always liked being there. Especially liked going there at wednesday mornings with my kids, always had a lot of fun. It's located in a beautiful scenery with the river, Wagga city and the park right across the street.

Very modern large library, lots of room and set on the river bank with gardens. Well equipped facility. Looks like the money that the premier Gladys has been throwing at Wagga has been put to good use.

Really relaxing and quiet library with lots of books to choose from - also a children’s play area and access to the internet and wifi.

MUSEUM OF THE RIVERINA REVIEWS

A very interesting museum, featuring ww1 history and there also was a lot of farm machinery outside, even an old telephone booth. My husband and I really enjoyed this exhibition very much. Free admission.

Always a great place to visit with local and travelling exhibitions. Also great to look inside the old chambers.

Great little Museum currently showing best of the Bald Archies free entry.

WAGGA WAGGA RAIL HERITAGE STATION MUSEUM REVIEWS

Absolutely beautifully maintained operational station, where the annual picnic steam train runs for two days every June, does hourly trips & a 5 hour return trip up to Cootamundra via the Bethungra Spiral, on the Saturday evening.

Beautiful place and the volunteers are a great source of Knowledge. Great place for families or just anyone interested in the golden days of the railway.

Great place to visit. Artifacts were well presentes and the lady in charge was very kind. Souvenirs are available.
