“Rise Counselling Services is led by Heather, an Author and Counsellor specialising in women’s mental health and wellbeing. She completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, History, and Linguistics at UWA and Murdoch University, a diploma in Counselling, Gottman’s Method Couples Therapy Certificate, a Relationship Coach Certificate Course, Safe Professional Boundaries and Mental Health First Aid. Since the 1980s, she has been involved with several charitable organisations, including Sydney City Mission, World Vision, Peel Maternity Practice, and MOPS. Heather's work has focused particularly on women’s well-being and health, with involvement in groups supporting women in navigating life as young mothers, solo parents, or new mothers. Her goal is to continuously learn and help others to truly achieve the goals they want in life, specialising in working with stepfamilies, solo parents and couples. She wants her clients to RISE to the challenge of seeking help and learning to overcome and work through their dilemmas towards freedom.”

I had quite a few sessions with Heather Kell and she quite literally saved me. From childhood trauma to relationships and postnatal depression/anxiety, Heather was absolutely wonderful and always helpful, approachable and encouraging.

Heather was a wonderful support for my mother in law as well as to me after the death of my father in law. She was patient, kind with positive information and tools to help us. We will miss our sessions but she has helped us tremendously. Thank you.

Heather helped me tremendously, i would certainly recommend her and rise counselling with any issues you have going on in your life.
